     He was educated at Imperial Service College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Indian Army, 13th Frontier Force Rifles.1 He was commissioned in 1936, in the service of the Royal Air Force.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He retired from the military in 1949, with the rank of Flight Lieutenant.1 He lived in 1976 at The Lhen, Hague Drive, Onchan, Isle of ManG.1

     Helen Mary Townsend was born on 9 November 1906.1 She was the daughter of Admiral Cyril Samuel Townsend and Mary Elizabeth Moseley.2 She married S/Ldr. John Arthur Chetwynd-Talbot, son of Reverend Arthur Henry Chetwynd-Talbot and Eveline Mary Ashton, on 6 July 1929.1 She and S/Ldr. John Arthur Chetwynd-Talbot were divorced in 1963.1 She died on 17 August 1969 at age 62.1
     From 6 July 1929, her married name became Talbot. From 1963, her married name became Chetwynd-Talbot.1

     Captain Simon Thomas Clarke was born on 9 June 1936. He was the son of Major Charles Martin Clarke and Ferelith Patricia Fuller.1,2 He married Frances Eileen Bernadette Boylan, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Michael Benedict Carey Boylan and Eileen Cecilia May Wetherell, on 23 February 1965.1 He died on 25 September 2019 at age 83.3
     He retired from the military in 1962, with the rank of Captain, late of the Royal Horse Guards.2 He lived in 1976 at Manor Farm, Shipton Moyne, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2

John Arthur Chetwynd-Talbot was born on 14 March 1905.2 He was the son of Reverend Arthur Henry Chetwynd-Talbot and Eveline Mary Ashton.3,2 He married, firstly, Helen Mary Townsend, daughter of Admiral Cyril Samuel Townsend and Mary Elizabeth Moseley, on 6 July 1929.1 He and Helen Mary Townsend were divorced in 1963.1 He married Betty Verral Alton, daughter of Reverend Augustus George Alton, on 21 September 1963.2 He died in 1993.4
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.2 He graduated from Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was registered as a Associate Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (A.M.I.Mech.E.)1 He gained the rank of Squadron-Leader in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was awarded the Air Force Cross (A.F.C.)1
