     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was Professor of Latin and Greek at Pretoria University, Pretoria, Transvaal, South Africa.1 He lived in 1976 at Coologe, Carickmines, County Dublin, Ireland.1

      From 19 January 1920, her married name became Boxwell.
