     Thomas Brereton was born on 20 November 1785.1 He is the son of John Brereton and Margaret Watson.2 He married Maria Sadleir, daughter of Thomas Sadleir, on 1 December 1817.1 He died on 24 August 1860 at age 74,.1
     Thomas Brereton was Resident Magistrate for County Tipperary after 1843.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tipperary.1 He lived at Rathurles, Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland.1
