     Adelaide Mary Philippa Foley was the daughter of Admiral Hon. Fitzgerald Algernon Charles Foley and Frances Campbell. She married Lt.-Col. Charles Bulkeley Godman, son of Joseph Godman, on 1 June 1893. She died on 24 December 1896.
     Her married name became Godman.

He married Elizabeth Catherine Roper, daughter of Sir Henry Roper and Charlotte Lydia Pleydell-Bouverie, on 14 August 1912. He died on 21 November 1937 at age 74.

     Sir Henry Roper was born on 16 April 1800. He was the son of William Roper and Elizabeth Fish. He married Charlotte Lydia Pleydell-Bouverie, daughter of Reverend Hon. Frederick Pleydell-Bouverie and Elizabeth Sullivan, on 2 September 1847. He died on 20 March 1863 at age 62.
     Sir Henry Roper held the office of Chief Justice of Bombay.
