He married, firstly, Patricia Zoellner, daughter of Joseph Zoellner, III, on 23 December 1958. He and Patricia Zoellner were divorced in 1971. He married, secondly, Ghislaine Dresselhuys, daughter of Cornelius William Dresselhuys and Edith Merandon du Plessis, in 1972.
     Adrian Gerald Foley, 8th Baron Foley gained the title of 8th Baron Foley. He lived at Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England.

     Admiral Hon. Fitzgerald Algernon Charles Foley was born on 5 September 1823. He was the son of Thomas Foley, 3rd Baron Foley and Lady Cecilia Olivia Geraldine FitzGerald. He married, firstly, Frances Campbell, daughter of Sir George Campbell, on 27 August 1850. He married, secondly, Renira Anna Purvis, daughter of Reverend Richard Fortescue Purvis, on 21 July 1874. He died on 26 July 1903 at age 79.
