     Sir Adoph Tuck, 1st Bt. was born on 30 January 1854 at Kozmin, Poland.2,3 He was the son of Raphael Tuck and Ernestine Lissner.2 He married Jeanette Flatau, daughter of William Flatau, on 11 October 1882 at North London Synagogue, Barnsbury, London, England.4,3 He died on 2 July 1926 at age 72 at Marylebone, London, England.2,3
     He was chairman and managing director of Raphael Tuck & Sons.4 He was created 1st Baronet Tuck, of Park Crescent, St. Marylebone [U.K.] on 19 July 1910.4 In 1925 he revived the Victorian custom of sending Valentine's Day greeting cards.3
