     Mary Elizabeth Catherine Gibbs was born in 1793.2 She was the daughter of Abraham Gibbs and Mary Elizabeth Douglas.2 She married Lt.-Gen. Charles Ashe à Court Repington on 10 May 1815.1 She died on 21 January 1878.1
     From 10 May 1815, her married name became à Court Repington.2,1

     S/Ldr. Richard James Robert Haldane Makgill was born on 5 May 1907.1 He was the son of Sir George Makgill, 11th Bt. and Frances Elizabeth Grant.2 He married Elizabeth Lyman Hubbard, daughter of Gorham Hubbard, on 16 July 1932.1 He died on 9 August 1948 at age 41, killed in a plane crash.1
     S/Ldr. Richard James Robert Haldane Makgill gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the 18th London Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the service of the Royal Air Force.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the service of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.1 He was decorated with the award of Air Force Cross (A.F.C.).1

     George Hubbard Makgill, 13th Viscount of Oxfuird was born on 7 January 1934.1 He was the son of S/Ldr. Richard James Robert Haldane Makgill and Elizabeth Lyman Hubbard.2 He married, firstly, Alison Campbell Jensen, daughter of Neils Max Jensen, on 11 February 1967.1 He and Alison Campbell Jensen were divorced in 1977.1 He married, secondly, Venetia Cunitia Mary Steward, daughter of Major Charles Anthony Steward, on 22 August 1980.1 He died on 3 January 2003 at age 68.1
     George Hubbard Makgill, 13th Viscount of Oxfuird was educated at St. Peter's School, Cambridge, New Zealand.1 He was educated at Wanganui Collegiate School, Wanganui, New Zealand.1 He was commissioned in 1955, in the service of the Royal Air Force (GD Brigade).1 He succeeded to the title of 13th Viscount of Oxfuird [S., 1651] in 1986.1 He succeeded to the title of 13th Baronet Makgill [N.S., 1627] in 1986.1 He succeeded to the title of 13th Lord Makgill of Cousland [S., 1651] in 1986.1 He held the office of Deputy Speaker, House of Lords in 1990.1
