     Captain Robert Sebag-Montefiore was born on 4 October 1882.¹ He was the son of Arthur Sebag-Montefiore and Harriette Beddington.¹ He married Hon. Ida Marie Samuel, daughter of Marcus Samuel, 1st Viscount Bearsted and Fanny Elizabeth Benjamin, on 27 April 1911.¹ He died on 19 November 1915 at age 33, from wounds received in action.¹
