     Charles Edward Sebag-Montefiore was born on 4 March 1884.1 He was the son of Arthur Sebag-Montefiore and Harriette Beddington.1,2 He married Muriel Alice Ruth de Pass, daughter of Charles de Pass and Mabel Kate Benjamin, on 30 April 1913 at Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue, Lauderdale Road, London, England.1,3 He died on 7 May 1960 at age 76.1
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was a senior partner of Joseph Sebag & Company.1 He was member of the London Stock Exhchange.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1955.1

     Joseph Cohen was born in 1774.1 He was the son of Levi Barent Cohen and Fanny Diamantschleifer.1,2 He married Marianne Joachim, daughter of Elias Joachim, on 1 May 1796.1 He died on 24 July 1838, with an eldest son (Barent, born 1798, died an infant) and two youngest sons (Francis (Sheina), born 1801, married 1820 Louis Lucas (died 1851), s of Sampson Lucas, of Jamaica.1 He died on 24 July 1838.1
     He lived London.1 In 1802 Anna (Gererdel), born , died unmarried 1891) a 2nd son.1
