     Robert Burrowes was born on 19 March 1810.1 He was the son of Major Thomas Burrowes and Susan Seward.2 He married Anna Frances Carden, daughter of John Carden and Ann Rutter, on 16 October 1838.1 He was also reported to have been married on 13 October 1838.2 He died on 4 December 1881 at age 71.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cavan in 1838.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cavan.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Cavan.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cavan between 1855 and 1857.1 He lived at Stradone House, County Cavan, IrelandG.1

     James Edward Burrowes was born on 23 November 1820.1 He was the son of Major Thomas Burrowes and Susan Seward.3 He married Mary Anne Nesbitt, daughter of John Nesbitt, on 4 July 1854.1 He died on 16 November 1860 at age 39.1
     He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1844 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1

     Mary Anne Nesbitt is the daughter of John Nesbitt.2 She married James Edward Burrowes, son of Major Thomas Burrowes and Susan Seward, on 4 July 1854.1
     She lived at Lismore, Crossdoney, County Cavan, IrelandG.1 From 4 July 1854, her married name became Burrowes.

     Thomas Cosby Burrowes was born on 22 November 1856.1 He was the son of James Edward Burrowes and Mary Anne Nesbitt.2 He married Hon. Anna Frances Maxwell, daughter of Hon. Richard Thomas Maxwell and Charlotte Anne Elrington, on 15 April 1885.1 He died on 20 February 1925 at age 68.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cavan in 1888.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Cavan.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cavan.1 He lived at Lismore, Crossdoney, County Cavan, IrelandG.1

     Hon. Anna Frances Maxwell was the daughter of Hon. Richard Thomas Maxwell and Charlotte Anne Elrington.3,4 She married Thomas Cosby Burrowes, son of James Edward Burrowes and Mary Anne Nesbitt, on 15 April 1885.1 She died on 5 April 1937.4
     From 15 April 1885, her married name became Burrowes. On 14 May 1897 she was granted the rank of a baron's daughter.4

     Major Shuckburgh Upton Lucas-Clements was born on 2 July 1883.2 He was the son of Theophilus Lucas-Clements and Agnes Jane Sterling.2 He married Rosamund Charlotte Cosby Burrowes, daughter of Thomas Cosby Burrowes and Hon. Anna Frances Maxwell, on 7 June 1922.1 He died on 20 February 1960 at age 76.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1909 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.A.I.)1 He gained the rank of officer in the 4th Battalion, Royal Irish Fusiliers.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He lived at Rathkenny, Cootehill, County Cavan, IrelandG.1
