Colonel Hon. Edward Butler1

     Colonel Hon. Edward Butler was the son of Lt.-Gen. Piers Butler, 3rd Viscount of Galmoye and Anne Mathew.2 He died on 11 September 1709 at MalplaquetG, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the French Army.1 He fought in the Battle of Malplaquet on 11 September 1709.1
