St. John Butler, son of James Butler, 13th/23rd Baron Dunboyne and Ellen O'Connell, on 21 April 1873.1 She died on 16 April 1874 at age 64, without issue.1

     Edmond Butler was born circa 1700.1 He was the son of Piers Butler and Domvile Hartpole.2 He and Anne Skellern obtained a marriage license on 9 April 1720.1 He died on 6 February 1759.1
     He matriculated at Kilkenny School, Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland, on 29 May 1714.1 In 1719 he conformed to Protestantism.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Queen's County in 1719.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kilkenny in 1744.1 He lived at Newtown, Durrow, County Laois, Ireland, renaming his estate Edmondsbury in 1734.1 He lived at Borrismore, Urlingford, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1
