     Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie was the daughter of George Molyneux-Montgomerie.2 She married Francis Carleton, son of John Carleton and Elizabeth Hodgson, on 9 September 1809.1 She died in December 1874.1
     From 9 September 1809, her married name became Carleton.

     Hugh Francis Carleton was born on 3 July 1810.1 He is the son of Francis Carleton and Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie.2 He married Lydia Williams, daughter of Venerable Henry Williams, on 30 November 1859.1 He died on 14 July 1890 at age 80, without issue.1
     Hugh Francis Carleton lived at Greenfields, County Cork, Ireland.1 He lived at Clare, County Tipperary, Ireland.1

     General Henry Alexander Carleton was born on 28 February 1814.3 He is the son of Francis Carleton and Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie.2 He married Elizabeth Boyle, daughter of Armor Boyle, on 22 December 1855.3 He died on 22 February 1900 at age 85,.3
     General Henry Alexander Carleton was educated at Addiscombe Military College, Addiscombe, London, England.3 He was commissioned in 1830, in the service of the Bengal Artillery.3 In 1851 he served (with Sir Colin Campbell) in Peshawar Valley against Momunds.3 He gained the rank of officer after 1857 in the service of the Royal Artillery.3 He fought in the Siege and Capture of Lucknow in 1858, where he commanded a Division.3 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1858.3 He was present at action of Nawab Gunge (under Sir Hope Grant).3 He was Colonel Commandant of the Royal Artillery.3 He gained the rank of General in the service of the Royal Artillery.4 He lived at Clare, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 He lived at Greenfields, County Cork, Ireland.3

     Percival Augustus Carleton was born on 7 April 1825.1 He was the son of Francis Carleton and Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie.2 He married Susan Georgiana Hare, daughter of Charles Hare, on 21 April 1865.1 He died on 13 December 1869 at age 44,.1
     Percival Augustus Carleton gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 1st Surrey Militia.1 He served in the Anglo-Turkish Contingent.1
