     Harriet Ella Portman was the daughter of Edward Berkeley Portman and Lucy Whitby.1 She married William Stratford Dugdale, son of Dugdale Stratford Dugdale and Hon. Charlotte Curzon, on 1 March 1827.1 She died on 17 April 1903.1
     From 1 March 1827, her married name became Dugdale.

     Richard Geast Dugdale was born on 23 June 1830.1 He was the son of William Stratford Dugdale and Harriet Ella Portman.2 He died on 22 September 1836 at age 6.1

     Alice Carleton was born on 6 November 1864.4 She was the daughter of General Henry Alexander Carleton and Elizabeth Boyle.2,3 She married John Stratford Dugdale, son of William Stratford Dugdale and Harriet Ella Portman, on 21 October 1890.4 She died on 19 August 1949 at age 84.1
     From 21 October 1890, her married name became Dugdale.
