Frances Bourke was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Richard Bourke and Frances Fowler.1,2 She married William Henry Carter, son of Thomas Carter and Catherine Butler, on 10 June 1846.1 She died on 21 January 1858, without issue.1

Rt. Rev. Richard Bourke was born on 23 April 1787.1 He was the son of Most Rev. Joseph Deane Bourke, 3rd Earl of Mayo and Elizabeth Meade.1 He married Frances Fowler, daughter of Robert Fowler, on 20 March 1795.1 He died on 15 November 1832 at age 45.1
