     Elizabeth Howard was the daughter of Edward Charles Howard and Elizabeth Maycock. She married Hon. Charles Berney Petre, son of Robert Edward Petre, 10th Baron Petre and Mary Bridget Howard, on 31 May 1822. She died on 6 September 1835.
     Elizabeth Howard also went by the nick-name of Eliza. Her married name became Petre.

     Stephen Phillips was educated at English College, Douay, Flanders, Belgium.1
