     Charles Brownlow Cumberland was born on 21 May 1764.2 He was the son of Richard Cumberland.1 He married Penelope Susannah Mathew, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Edward Mathew and Lady Jane Bertie, on 23 October 1799 at St. James' Church, London, England, in a with a dowry of £40,000 marriage.1,2 He died on 12 May 1835 at age 70.2 He was also reported to have died in 1828.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Horse Guards Blue.2

     Margaret Honor Campbell was the daughter of Donald Campbell.1 She married Albemarle Willoughby David Dewar, son of Albemarle O'Beirne Willoughby Dewar and Florence Wilhelmina Rose Matthews, on 1 February 1934.1 She died on 2 October 1977.1
      From 1 February 1934, her married name became Dewar.1
