     Mary Cutler was the daughter of John Cutler.2 She married, firstly, James Dewar, 3rd of Vogrie, son of James Dewar, 2nd of Vogrie and Katharine McGeorge, on 24 April 1779.1 She married, secondly, Maj.-Gen. David Dewar, son of William Dewar and April Anne Agnes Erskine, on 10 June 1790.3 She died on 27 May 1830.1
     From 24 April 1779, her married name became Dewar.1
