Major Hon. Rupert Edward Henry Law was born on 28 March 1955. He is the son of Richard Edward Cecil Law, 8th Baron Ellenborough and Rachel Mary Hedley.1 He married Hon. Grania Janet Gray Boardman, daughter of Thomas Gray Boardman, Baron Boardman and Norah Mary Deirdre Gough, in 1981.1
