     Henry Astell Law, 7th Baron Ellenborough was born on 11 July 1889.2 He was the son of Cecil Henry Towry-Law, 6th Baron Ellenborough and Alice Caroline Astell.1 He married Helen Dorothy Lovatt, daughter of Harry William Lovatt, on 31 January 1923.2 He died on 19 March 1945 at age 55.2
     Henry Astell Law, 7th Baron Ellenborough was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).2 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) Dorset.2 He was Military Cross (M.C.).2 He gained the title of 7th Baron Ellenborough. He was Major 1st Battalion KOYLI, memb Gentlemen-at-Arms , chairman CPRSE Dorset, served WW I (despatches) in 1934.2

He married, secondly, Frances Edith Joyce Yeates, daughter of William Thomas Yeates, on 12 March 1994.
     Richard Edward Cecil Law, 8th Baron Ellenborough was educated Eton and Magdalene College Cambridge.2 He gained the title of 8th Baron Ellenborough.
