     Walter Buckley Barrington, 9th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass was born on 20 April 1848.1 He was the son of Percy Barrington, 8th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Louisa Higgins. He married, firstly, Mary Isabella Bogue, daughter of Reverend Richard Bogue, on 26 April 1870.1 He married, secondly, Charlotte Mary Leycester Stopford, daughter of Major George Montagu Stopford and Caroline Mary Burgoyne, on 19 January 1905.1 He died on 12 September 1933 at age 85.1 He was buried at Shrivenham, Berkshire, England.1
     Walter Buckley Barrington, 9th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass was educated between 1857 and 1863 at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Shute of Becket, co. Berks [U.K., 1880] on 29 April 1901.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass, co. Down [I., 1720] on 29 April 1901.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Baron Barrington of Newcastle, co. Limerick [I., 1720] on 29 April 1901.1

     Mary Isabella Bogue was the daughter of Reverend Richard Bogue.1 She married Walter Buckley Barrington, 9th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass, son of Percy Barrington, 8th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Louisa Higgins, on 26 April 1870.1 She died on 16 November 1903.1
     Her married name became Barrington. As a result of her marriage, Mary Isabella Bogue was styled as Viscountess Barrington of Ardglass on 29 April 1901.

     Percy Barrington, 8th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass was born on 22 April 1825 at Lower Brook Street, London, England.1 He was the son of William Keppel Barrington, 6th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Hon. Jane Elizabeth Liddell.1 He married Louisa Higgins, daughter of Tully Higgins, on 3 July 1845 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1 He died on 29 April 1901 at age 76 at Westbury Manor, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He was buried on 3 May 1901 at Brackley, Northamptonshire, England.1 His will was probated, at over £62,000, and above £17,000 net.1
