     Major Richard Cosmo Alderson was born in 1906 at Epsom, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Hall Alderson and Mary Emily Bonsor.2 He married Gillian Mary Barrington, daughter of Hon. Walter Bernard Louis Barrington and Eleanor Nina Snagge, on 15 April 1936.3 He died on 10 June 1944 at ItalyG, killed in action.4
     He fought in the Second World War.4 He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.3

     Sir Edward Hall Alderson was born in 1864 at New ZealandG.2 He was the son of Francis John Alderson and Jane Irvin Black.1,2 He married Mary Emily Bonsor, daughter of Sir Henry Cosmo Orme Bonsor, 1st Bt. and Emily Gertrude Fellowes.1 He died on 7 March 1951.1
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1884.2

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Rupert Edward Selborne Barrington was born on 10 December 1877 at Brackley, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Walter Bulkeley Barrington, 9th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Mary Isabella Bogue.3 He married Mary Georgiana Ferguson, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Arthur Ferguson, 6th of Pitfour and Hon. Nina Maria Hood, on 10 September 1903.3
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.3 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scottish Horse.3 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, where he was mentioned in dispatches and was wounded.3 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1

     Lt.-Col. George Arthur Ferguson, 6th of Pitfour was born on 17 March 1835.2 He was the son of Admiral George Ferguson, 5th of Pitfour and Hon. Elizabeth Jane Rowley.2 He married Hon. Nina Maria Hood, daughter of General Alexander Hood, 1st Viscount Bridport of Cricket St. Thomas and Lady Mary Penelope Hill, on 7 February 1861.1 He died on 15 December 1924 at age 89.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.1 He lived at Pitfour, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG. He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

Rupert Edward Selborne Barrington and Mary Georgiana Ferguson.2,3 He married, firstly, Hester Maud Vere Campbell, daughter of Reverend Guy Ronald Campbell and Hon. Vere Annesley, on 8 June 1929.1 He and Hester Maud Vere Campbell were divorced in 1938.1 He married, secondly, Mabel Susannah Taylor, daughter of Charles Wardrope Taylor, on 16 July 1941.2
     He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.2 He fought in the Second World War.2

     Hon. Percy Evelyn Barrington was born on 29 July 1884.1 He was the son of Walter Bulkeley Barrington, 9th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Mary Isabella Bogue.1 He married Muriel Constance Oyler, daughter of Isaac Beaman Oyler, on 13 October 1908.1 He died on 30 May 1911 at age 26.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Company, London Imperial YEomanry.1

     Muriel Constance Oyler was the daughter of Isaac Beaman Oyler. She married, firstly, Hon. Percy Evelyn Barrington, son of Walter Bulkeley Barrington, 9th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Mary Isabella Bogue, on 13 October 1908.1 She married, secondly, Alfred Fabian de Ledesssma on 19 September 1914.1 She died on 14 November 1928.
     From 13 October 1908, her married name became Barrington. Her married name became de Ledesssma.
