Sir Edward Hall Alderson was born in 1864 at New Zealand.2 He is the son of Francis John Alderson and Jane Irvin Black.1,2 He married Mary Emily Bonsor, daughter of Sir Henry Cosmo Orme Bonsor, 1st Bt. and Emily Gertrude Fellowes.1 He died on 7 March 1951.1
