     John Richard Brinsley Norton, 7th Baron Grantley was born on 30 July 1923. He was the son of Richard Henry Brinsley Norton, 6th Baron Grantley and Jean Mary Kinloch. He married Deirdre Elisabeth Mary Freda Hare, daughter of Sir William Francis Hare, 5th Earl of Listowel and Judith de Marffy-Mantuana, on 18 January 1955. He died in 1995.
     John Richard Brinsley Norton, 7th Baron Grantley gained the title of 7th Baron Grantley.

     Fiona Eve Akua Hare was born on 24 February 1960. She is the daughter of Sir William Francis Hare, 5th Earl of Listowel and Stephanie Sandra Yvonne Wise.

     Michael John Hare, 2nd Viscount Blakenham was born on 25 January 1938.¹ He is the son of John Hugh Hare, 1st Viscount Blakenham and Hon. Beryl Nancy Pearson.¹ He married Marcia Persephone Hare, daughter of Major Hon. Alan Victor Hare and Jill Peggotty North, on 12 January 1965.¹
     Michael John Hare, 2nd Viscount Blakenham was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Second Lieutenant in the service of the Life Guards.² He graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A., with a Bachelor of Arts, Economics (A.B.).^1,2 He was a director of Lazard Partners between 1975 and 1997.² He was chief executive of Pearson between 1978 and 1990.² He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Blakenham, of Little Balkenham, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1963] on 7 March 1982.¹ He was chairman of the Financial Times between 1983 and 1993.² He was chairman of Pearson between 1983 and 1997.² He was a partner of Lazard Partners between 1984 and 1997.² He was a director of Sothebys Holdings in 1987.² He was a director of UK-Japan 21st Century Group in 1990.² He was a director of Lafarge in 1998.²

     Hon. Mary Anne Hare was born on 9 April 1936.¹ She is the daughter of John Hugh Hare, 1st Viscount Blakenham and Hon. Beryl Nancy Pearson.¹ She married Timothy Mark Sergison-Brooke, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Bertram Norman Sergison-Brooke and Hilda Fenwick, on 12 November 1964.¹
     From 12 November 1964, her married name became Sergison-Brooke.¹ She lived in 2003 at Chipping Warden Manor, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Hon. Joanna Freda Hare was born on 27 July 1942.¹ She is the daughter of John Hugh Hare, 1st Viscount Blakenham and Hon. Beryl Nancy Pearson.¹ She married Stephen Breyer, son of Irving Breyer, on 4 September 1967.¹
     From 4 September 1967, her married name became Breyer.¹ She lived in 2003 at 12 Dunstable Road, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A..¹

     Marcia Persephone Hare was born on 13 September 1946. She is the daughter of Major Hon. Alan Victor Hare and Jill Peggotty North.¹ She married Michael John Hare, 2nd Viscount Blakenham, son of John Hugh Hare, 1st Viscount Blakenham and Hon. Beryl Nancy Pearson, on 12 January 1965.¹
     As a result of her marriage, Marcia Persephone Hare was styled as Viscountess Blakenham on 7 March 1982.

     Alan Simon Mercury Hare was born on 22 June 1948. He is the son of Major Hon. Alan Victor Hare and Jill Peggotty North.¹ He married Hon. Alexandra Elizabeth Charmian Amery, daughter of Rt. Hon. Harold Julian Amery, Baron Amery of Lustleigh and Lady Catherine Macmillan, in 1988.¹
     Alan Simon Mercury Hare was also known as Mercury.¹

     Charles Thomas Milnes Gaskell was the son of Evelyn Milnes Gaskell. He married Lady Ethel Patricia Hare, daughter of Richard Granville Hare, 4th Earl of Listowel and Hon. Freda Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, on 12 November 1936. He died on 5 November 1943, killed in a flying accident.

     Lt.-Col. Robert Milnes-Coates was born on 27 September 1907. He is the son of Captain Sir Edward Clive Milnes-Coates, 2nd Bt. and Lady Celia Hermione Crewe-Milnes. He married Lady Ethel Patricia Hare, daughter of Richard Granville Hare, 4th Earl of Listowel and Hon. Freda Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, on 4 September 1945.
