Thomas Michael Baring, son of Major Edward Thomas Baring and Virginia Ryan, on 17 April 1953.2 She and Lt.-Col. Thomas Michael Baring were divorced in 1965.2
     From 14 June 1945, her married name became Astor. As a result of her marriage, Hon. Sarah Kathleen Elinor Norton was styled as Viscountess of Astor on 30 September 1952. From 17 April 1953, her married name became Baring.3 She and Lt.-Col. Thomas Michael Baring were adopted.4

     Richard Henry Brinsley Norton, 6th Baron Grantley was born on 2 April 1892. He was the son of Captain John Richard Brinsley Norton, 5th Baron Grantley and Katharine Buckner McVickar. He married Jean Mary Kinloch, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir David Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 11th Bt., on 3 April 1919. He died on 17 July 1954 at age 62.
