     John FitzMaurice is the son of Maurice FitzGibbon.2 He married Ellen Condon, daughter of Patrick Condon.1 He died in 1569.1
     10th Whitt Knight.1 An active protector of Catholic clergy.1 Posthumously attainted of high treason and his lands forfeited.1 9th White Knight.1 Murdered by his cousins Thomas and Gibbon at the instigation of their half-brother John Oge.1 Who thereupon I as JOHN OGE FITZGIBBON (or FlTZGERALD).1

     Ellen Condon is the daughter of Patrick Condon.2 She married John FitzMaurice, son of Maurice FitzGibbon.1
     (with five other sons-all of whom were either murdered or executed).1 Lord of Condons issue.1 Her married name became FitzMaurice.

     Edmund FitzMaurice is the son of John FitzMaurice and Ellen Condon.2 He married Joan Tobyn Cumshionagh, daughter of Lord the of Cumshionagh.1 He died on 23 April 1608, at Kilbeheny Castle, County Limerick (bur Kilmallock Abbey) issue.1
     And joan, dau of Dermot MacCarthy, Lord of MUSkerry (1ft BURKE'S l>orIIIaftt and ExtillCt Peeragel).1 11th Whitt Knight.1 In 1576 restored tomost of his father's lands in recognition of hisservices toCrown.1

     Maurice Fitzgibbon was the son of Edmund FitzMaurice and Joan Tobyn Cumshionagh.2 He married Hon. Joan Butler, daughter of James Butler, 2nd/12th Baron Dunboyne.1 He died on 22 April 1608 at Old Castletown, County Cork, Ireland.1 He was buried at Kilmallock Abbey, Ireland.
