     Jane Moncreiffe is the daughter of Sir John Moncreiff of that Ilk, 1st Bt. and Lady Mary Murray.2 She married, firstly, Sir Simon Fraser of Inverallochy, son of Simon Fraser, 6th Lord Lovat, before 1621.1 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Burnett of Leys, 1st Bt., son of Alexander Burnet of Leys and Katherine Gordon, in 1621.1
     From before 1621, her married name became Fraser.1 From 1621, her married name became Burnett.1
