Captain Hon. Francis Reginald Dennis Prittie was born on 15 October 1880.1 He was the son of Henry O'Callaghan Prittie, 4th Baron Dunalley of Kilboy and Mary Frances Farmer.2 He died on 19 December 1914 at age 34, killed in action.1
Captain Hon. Francis Reginald Dennis Prittie was Assistant Commissioner of Uganda Boundary between 1910 and 1914.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the award of Legion of Honour.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Rifle Brigade.1
