     Sir Robert Drummond Cospatric Dunbar of Durn, 10th Bt. was born on 17 June 1958.1 He is the son of Sir Drummond Cospatrick Ninian Dunbar of Durn, 9th Bt. and Sheila Barbara Mary de Fonblanque.2 He married Sarah Margaret Brooks, daughter of Robert Anthony Brooks, in 1994.1
     Sir Robert Drummond Cospatric Dunbar of Durn, 10th Bt. was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).3 He was a practising solicitor in 1982.1 He was director of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in 1995.1 He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Dunbar, of Durn [N.S., 1698] on 12 June 2000.1 He lived in 2003 at 32 Westover Road, London, England.1
