     David Dunbar was the son of Ninian Dunbar of Grangehill and Mary Ogilvy.2 He married, firstly, Margery Seton, daughter of Sir William Seton of Pitmedden.1 He married, secondly, Janet Leslie of Pitcaple.1 He died on 14 February 1691.1
     David Dunbar lived at Kirkhill, Inverness-shire, Scotland.1
