     Sir Abraham Elton, 3rd Bt. was born in 1703.1 He was the son of Sir Abraham Elton, 2nd Bt. and Abigail Bayly.3 He died on 29 November 1761, unmarried.1
     He held the office of Sheriff of Bristol in 1728.1 He held the office of Mayor of Bristol in 1742.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Elton, of Bristol [G.B., 1717] on 20 October 1742.1

Captain Jacob Elton1

     Captain Jacob Elton was the son of Sir Abraham Elton, 2nd Bt. and Abigail Bayly.2 He married Caroline Yate, daughter of Charles Yate.1 He died on 29 March 1745, without issue , killed in action in a sea battle with the French.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
