     Reverend Sir Abraham Elton was born on 23 March 1755.1 He was the son of Sir Abraham Isaac Elton, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Read.2 He married Elizabeth Durbin, daughter of Sir John Durbin, on 7 November 1776.1 He married Mary Stewart, daughter of William Stewart, on 29 March 1823.1 He died on 23 February 1842 at age 86.1
     Reverend Sir Abraham Elton was educated Christ's College Cambridge (MA), Chm Somerset QS.1 He was also known as 5th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1
