     Thomas Elton was born Ledbury (yr s of Antony Elton, of the Hazle, Herefs/Glos borders, where the family had lived some generations) in 1573.1 He married Jane Aston, daughter of Sir Edward Aston.1 He died in 1618 at Bath, Somerset, England.1
     Physician.1 On 24 February 1608 settled parish of St Philip's, Barton Regis, nr Bristol, by.1

     Sir Abraham Elton, 1st Bt. was the son of Isaac Elton and Elizabeth (?).2 He married Mary Jefferies, daughter of Robert Jefferies, on 11 September 1676.1 He died on 9 February 1727/28.3
     And Whitestaunton Manors.1 Somerset.1 Winford.1 He lived Clevedon Court.1 On 3 July 1654 baptised.1 He was Master Merchant Venturers Bristol , Mayor Bristol 1710, Sheriff Glos 1716, Member of Parliament (M.P.) Bristol 1722–27, helped suppress Jacobites 1715 in 1708.1 He was created 1st Baronet Elton on 31 October 1717.1
