     Sir Edward Vaughan Mansel, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Edward Mansel, 2nd Bt. and Anne Price.2 He married Mary Shewen, daughter of Joseph Shewen.1 He died in January 1788.1
     Sir Edward Vaughan Mansel, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Mansel, of Trimsaran, co. Carmarthen [E., 1697] in 1754.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Carmarthenshire in 1778.1

     Sir Edward Joseph Shewen Mansel, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Edward Vaughan Mansel, 3rd Bt. and Mary Shewen.2 He died on 6 April 1798, unmarried.1
     Sir Edward Joseph Shewen Mansel, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Mansel, of Trimsaran, co. Carmarthen [E., 1697] in January 1788.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Edward Mansel was the son of Sir Francis Mansel, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Stepney.2 He married Honor Lloyd, daughter of Thomas William Lloyd.1 He died in May 1671.1
     Edward Mansel gained the rank of Captain in the service of the British Army.1 He lived at Beauley, Carmarthenshire, Wales.1
