Sir John Bell William Mansel, 11th Bt. was born on 5 October 1806.1 He was the son of Sir William Mansel, 10th Bt. and Elizabeth Bell.2 He married Mary Georgiana Dymoke, daughter of unknown Dymoke, on 31 July 1832.1 He died on 14 April 1883 at age 76, without male issue.1
Sir John Bell William Mansel, 11th Bt. succeeded to the title of 11th Baronet Mansel, of Muddlescombe, co. Carmarthen [E., 1622] in 1829.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1831 entitled to practice as a barrister.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Carmarthenshire in 1846.1
