Sir Arthur Hallam Elton, 7th Bt.1

     Sir Arthur Hallam Elton, 7th Bt. was born on 19 April 1818.2 He was the son of Sir Charles Abraham Elton, 6th Bt. and Sarah Smith.3 He married Rhoda Susan Willis, daughter of James Willis, on 10 June 1841.2 He married Eliza Stradling, daughter of Edward Anstice Stradling, on 20 November 1876.3 He died on 14 October 1883 at age 65.3
     He gained the rank of officer between 1836 and 1841 in the service of the 14th Regiment.2 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Elton, of Bristol [G.B., 1717] on 1 June 1853.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Somerset in 1857.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bath between 1857 and 1859.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Somerset.2

     Joseph Arthur Gibbs was born on 25 November 1867 at Belgrave Road, London, England.1,2 He was the son of George Louis Monck Gibbs and Laura Beatrice Elton.1 He died on 13 May 1899 at age 31, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was a writer and humanitarian.1

     George Harold Gibbs was born on 28 February 1869.1 He was the son of George Louis Monck Gibbs and Laura Beatrice Elton.1 He married Anne Everilda Caroline Webber, daughter of Thomas Wingfield Webber, on 2 September 1897.1 He died on 28 December 1926 at age 57.1
