     Major Antony Edmund Gibbs was born on 27 December 1873.1 He was the son of George Louis Monck Gibbs and Laura Beatrice Elton.1 He married Euphemia Constance Houston-Boswell-Preston, daughter of Thomas Alford Houston-Boswell-Preston, on 24 October 1906.1 He died on 12 May 1922 at age 48.1
     Major Antony Edmund Gibbs gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Gloucestershire Hussars.1

     From 24 October 1906, her married name became Gibbs.1 From 25 July 1934, her married name became Chester-Master.1
