     Commander Pownoll William Pellew was born on 27 January 1837.1 He was the son of Reverend Edward Pellew and Marianne Winthrop.2 He married Mary Elizabeth Bagnel, daughter of Reverend John Armstrong Bagnel, on 20 June 1867.1 He died on 12 March 1872 at age 35.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1

     Mary Elizabeth Bagnel is the daughter of Reverend John Armstrong Bagnel.2 She married Commander Pownoll William Pellew, son of Reverend Edward Pellew and Marianne Winthrop, on 20 June 1867.1
     From 20 June 1867, her married name became Pellew.

     Edward Irving Pownoll Pellew, 8th Viscount Exmouth was born on 3 May 1868.2 He was the son of Commander Pownoll William Pellew and Mary Elizabeth Bagnel.2 He married Frances Edwards, daughter of Alfred Wells Edwards, in 1902.2 He died on 19 August 1951 at age 83.2
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)2 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)2 He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in 1914 in the Royal Army Medical Corps.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)2 He was awarded the Chevalier du Mérite Agricole.2 He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Exmouth, co. Devon [U.K., 1816] on 7 June 1945.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Pellew, of Exmouth, co. Devon [G.B., 1796] on 7 June 1945.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Exmouth of Canonteign, co. Devon [U.K., 1814] on 7 June 1945.1

     Fleetwood Hugo Pellew was born on 13 December 1838.1 He was the son of Reverend Edward Pellew and Marianne Winthrop.2 He married Dorothy Mary Anderson, daughter of Reverend Philip Anderson, on 3 July 1869.1 He died on 24 May 1906 at age 67.1
     He was Commissioner of Dacca.1

     Fleetwood Hugo Pellew was born on 23 December 1871.1 He was the son of Fleetwood Hugo Pellew and Dorothy Mary Anderson.2 He married Violet Annie du Pre, daughter of James du Pre, on 25 May 1909.1 He died on 28 March 1961 at age 89.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the West Yorkshire Regiment.1
