     David Cuningham was the son of David Cuningham and Margaret William.2 He married Elizabeth Cunningham, daughter of William Cunningham of Glengarnock.1 He died on 1 December 1592, c , having by her had a daughter (Jane, married John Hamilton in Glengarwell issue).1
     His s by his 1st w.1 OF ROBERTLAND.1 In 1544 a minor.1 In March 1555 married 2nd /6 Grizel (d 16 Feb 1562/3), daughter of James Hamilton of Stenhouse by Grizel, elder daughter of 3rd Lord Sempill (qv).1

     Sir David Cuningham was the son of David Cuningham and Elizabeth Cunningham.2 He married Jean Cunningham, daughter of Alexander Cunningham of Aiker.1 He died on 18 December 1607, c , with two daughters:.1
     Minor on succession.1 OF ROBERTLAND.1 On 30 April 1566 granted a charter of Hoilhouse, confirmed.1

     David Cuningham was the son of Sir David Cuningham and Jean Cunningham.2 He married Margaret Barochan, daughter of Patrick Fleming of Barochan.1 He died in April 1619,, with two other sons:.1
     David Cuningham lived Robertland.1 Sir.1 In 1607 retoured heir to his father and grandfather.1 In 1614 had charter of Glengarnock.1

     Sir David Cuningham of Robertland, 1st Bt. was the son of David Cuningham and Margaret Barochan.2 He married Elizabeth Joyce on 8 June 1637.1 He died on 8 October 1661, after but before Nov 1671.1
     With remainder to heirs male whatsoever.1 Master of the Horse to JAMES VI.1 In 1619 served heir gen of his father and heir special in Robertland, Glengarnock, etc 1628.1 He was created 1st Baronet Cuningham on 25 November 1630.1 On 25 November 1630 so created.1
