     Edward Butler-Henderson was born on 9 June 1916.1 He was the son of Hon. Eric Brand Butler-Henderson and Hon. Sophia Isabelle Butler Massey.2 He married Elizabeth Marjorie Dacres Dixon, daughter of Henry George Dacres Dixon and Marjorie Edith Pelham, on 15 September 1939.1 He died on 19 May 2002 at age 85 at Westminster, London, England.3,4
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.4 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 99th (Royal Buckinghamshire Yeomanry) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (TA).1 He was managing director of Henderson Administration Ltd between 1951 and 1969.4 He was chairman of Naydale Services Ltd.1
