     Hon. Robin Charles Denison-Pender was born on 7 September 1935.2 He was the son of John Jocelyn Denison-Pender, 2nd Baron Pender and Camilla Lethbridge Pemberton.2 He married Clare Nell Thomson, daughter of James Currie Thomson and Letitia Blanche Borthwick, on 7 May 1966.1 He died on 4 April 2001 at age 65 at Bahamas.3,2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 11th Hussars.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Kent in 1993.2

     John Cuthbert Denison-Pender, 1st Baron Pender was born on 11 May 1882.2 He was the son of Sir John Denison Denison-Pender and Beatrice Katherine Ellison.3,2 He married Irene de la Rue, daughter of Sir Ernest da la Rue, on 6 February 1906.2 He died on 4 December 1949 at age 67.2
     He was given the name of John Cuthbert Denison Pender at birth.1 On 8 May 1890 his name was legally changed to John Cuthbert Denison-Pender by Royal Licence.2 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He held the office of Member of the London City Council between 1910 and 1919, for South St. Pancras.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Unionist) for Newmarket between 1913 and 1918.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was decorated with the award of the Commander, Order of Dannebrog of Denmark.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Unionist) for Balham and Tooting between 1918 and 1922.2 He was joint president of Marconi International Marine Communication Company.2 He was Governor and joint managing director of Cable and Wireless Holdings.2 He was chairman of Eastern and Associated Telegraph Companies.2 He was created 1st Baron Pender, of Porthurnow, co. Cornwall [U.K.] on 12 June 1937.2
