     Hon. Michael John Erskine was born on 5 April 1956.¹ He is the son of John Francis Hervey Erskine, 13th Earl of Mar and Pansy Constance Thorne.¹ He married Jill Westwood, daughter of Campbell S. Westwood, in 1987.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Manse, Kilmelfort, Argyllshire, Scotland.¹

     Lady Fiona Erskine was born on 5 April 1956.¹ She is the daughter of John Francis Hervey Erskine, 13th Earl of Mar and Pansy Constance Thorne.¹ She married Colonel P. W. Campbell, son of Wilson Campbell, in 1980.¹
      From 1980, her married name became Campbell.¹ She lived in 2003 at The Glebe House, Stobo, Peebles-shire, Scotland.¹

     Alistair Robert Hervy Erskine was born on 21 March 1923.¹ He was the son of Major John Francis Ashley Erskine, Lord Erskine and Lady Marjorie Hervey.¹ He died on 19 April 1945 at age 22 at Germany, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Scots Guards.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Hon. David Hervey Erskine was born on 5 November 1924.² He is the son of Major John Francis Ashley Erskine, Lord Erskine and Lady Marjorie Hervey.² He married, firstly, Jean Violet Douglas, daughter of Lt.-Col. Archibald Vivian Campbell Douglas and Elizabeth Cicely Bunsen, on 5 March 1953.² He married, secondly, Caroline Mary Lascelles, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Frederick Lascelles and Hon. Joan Frances Vere Thesiger, in 1985.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He fought in the Second World War, in Italy.² He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Scots Guards.² He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1950 entitled to practice as a barrister.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1957 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).² He held the office of Member of the West Suffolk County Council in 1968.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).³ He lived at Felsham, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.⁴ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk.²

     Jean Violet Douglas was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Archibald Vivian Campbell Douglas and Elizabeth Cicely Bunsen.¹ She married Hon. David Hervey Erskine, son of Major John Francis Ashley Erskine, Lord Erskine and Lady Marjorie Hervey, on 5 March 1953.¹ She died in 1983.¹
      Her married name became Erskine.

     Lt.-Col. Archibald Vivian Campbell Douglas was born on 6 November 1902. He is the son of Brig.-Gen. Douglas Campbell and Violet Averil Margaret Vivian. He married Elizabeth Cicely Bunsen, daughter of Sir Maurice de Bunsen, 1st Bt., in 1927.
     He lived at Mains, Laraich, Aberfoyle, Stirlingshire, Scotland.

     Elizabeth Cicely Bunsen is the daughter of Sir Maurice de Bunsen, 1st Bt. She married Lt.-Col. Archibald Vivian Campbell Douglas, son of Brig.-Gen. Douglas Campbell and Violet Averil Margaret Vivian, in 1927.
      Her married name became Douglas.

     Sir Maurice de Bunsen, 1st Bt. gained the title of 1st Baronet de Bunsen.

     Janet Cicely Erskine was born on 28 December 1955.¹ She is the daughter of Hon. David Hervey Erskine and Jean Violet Douglas.¹ She married Gordon Drake Arthur, son of Allan Arthur, in 1980.¹
      From 1980, her married name became Arthur.¹ She lived in 2003 at Highfields, Smeeton Westerby, Leicestershire, England.¹

     Catherine Marjorie Erskine was born on 20 February 1958.¹ She is the daughter of Hon. David Hervey Erskine and Jean Violet Douglas.¹ She married Edward Georges Rosedale in 1979.¹
      From 1979, her married name became Rosedale.¹
