     Averil Vivian was born on 4 December 1876. She was the daughter of Colonel Henry Hussey Vivian, 1st Baron Swansea and Averil Beaumont. She married George Clement Tryon, 1st Baron Tryon, son of Vice-Admiral Sir George Tryon and Clementia Heathcote, on 28 February 1905. She died on 1 February 1959 at age 82.
     Her married name became Tryon.

     Vice-Admiral Sir George Tryon was born in 1832. He married Clementia Heathcote, daughter of Gilbert John Heathcote, 1st Baron Aveland and Clementina Elizabeth Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby, Baroness Willoughy de Eresby, on 5 April 1869. He died on 22 June 1893, drowned on-board his flagship, H.M.S. Victoria.
     Vice-Admiral Sir George Tryon was Commander of the Mediterranean Fleet.
