Venerable Henry Edward FitzHerbert was born on 29 December 1882.2 He was the son of Sir Richard FitzHerbert, 5th Bt. and Mary Anne Arkwright.3 He married Hon. Margaret Elinor Holmes à Court, daughter of William Frederick Holmes à Court, 3rd Baron Heytesbury of Heytesbury and Margaret Anna Harman, on 4 April 1907.1 He died on 3 April 1958 at age 75.2
He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).2 He was the Rector between 1930 and 1938 at Seale, Staffordshire, England.2 He held the office of Rural Dean of Repton between 1932 and 1938.2 He held the office of Hon. Canon of Derby in 1936.2 He held the office of Honorary Chaplain to HM King George VI between 1940 and 1952.2 He held the office of Archdeacon of Derby between 1943 and 1952.2 He held the office of Honorary Chaplain to HM Queen Elizabeth II between 1952 and 1954.2

Sir John Richard Frederick FitzHerbert, 8th Bt. was born on 15 September 1913.1 He was the son of Venerable Henry Edward FitzHerbert and Hon. Margaret Elinor Holmes à Court.2 He married Kathleen Anne Rees, daughter of H. T. Rees, on 30 August 1957.1 He died on 1 March 1989 at age 75.1
