     Edward Radcliffe, 6th Earl of Sussex was born before 10 November 1559.1 He was the son of Sir Humphrey Radcliffe and Isabel Harvey.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Petre, daughter of Sir William Petre and Gertrude Tyrrell, from 28 February 1581/82 to 16 August 1583.1 He married, secondly, Jane Hynde, daughter of Sir Francis Hynde and Jane Verney, on 30 May 1594.2 He married, thirdly, Eleanor Wortley, daughter of Sir Richard Wortley and Elizabeth Boughton, on 22 March 1634.2 He died between July 1643 and August 1643, without issue.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Petersfield from 1586 to 1587.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedfordshire from 1588 to 1589.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Portsmouth from 1593 to 1594.1 He was appointed Knight before 30 May 1594.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Bedfordshire from 1598 to 1599.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedfordshire in 1601.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedfordshire between 1604 and 1611.1 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount FitzWalter [E., 1525] on 22 September 1629.1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Sussex [E., 1529] on 22 September 1629.1 On his death his titles became extinct.2
