     Vera Helen Forestier Walker was baptised on 3 December 1872 at jamaica.2 She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. George Edmund Lushington Walker and Camilla Georgina Calder.3 She married William Douglas Braithwaite, son of Rev. Canon P. R. P. Braithwaite, on 16 October 1907.1 She died on 26 April 1956 at age 83.1
      From 16 October 1907, her married name became Braithwaite.
