     Charlotte Linda Barnes was born on 22 September 1852.1 She was the daughter of Henry Barnes and Georgiana Smith.2 She married Reverend Henry Arthur Morgan in 1882.1 She died on 10 June 1929 at age 76.1
     From 1882, her married name became Morgan.

     Mary Humpston Mitchell was the daughter of Thomas Mitchell.2 She married John Gorell Barnes, 1st Baron Gorell, son of Henry Barnes and Georgiana Smith, on 20 April 1881.1 She died on 28 November 1918.1
     From 20 April 1881, her married name became Barnes. After her marriage, Mary Humpston Mitchell was styled as Baroness Gorell on 16 February 1909.

     Henry Gorell Barnes, 2nd Baron Gorell was born on 21 January 1882.1 He was the son of John Gorell Barnes, 1st Baron Gorell and Mary Humpston Mitchell.2 He died on 16 January 1917 at age 34, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.G.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1906 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1908 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Gorell, of Brampton, co. Derby [U.K., 1909] on 22 April 1913.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the 7th London Brigade, Royal Garrison Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1

     Ronald Gorell Barnes, 3rd Baron Gorell was born on 16 April 1884.1 He was the son of John Gorell Barnes, 1st Baron Gorell and Mary Humpston Mitchell.2 He married Maud Elizabeth Furse Radcliffe, daughter of Alexander Nelson Radcliffe and Isabel Grace Henderson, on 10 January 1922.1 He died on 2 May 1963 at age 79.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1909 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was journalist with The Times between 1911 and 1915.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Gorell, of Brampton, co.
