     Agnes Scott is the daughter of Sir Gideon Scott of Highchester and Margaret Hamilton.2 She married by contract, firstly, Sir James Grant of Dalvey, 1st Bt., son of Sweton Grant and unknown Farquharson, on 8 April 1687.1 She married, secondly, Dr. William Rutherford after 1695.1 A contract for the marriage of Agnes Scott and John Riddell was signed on 17 December 1659.2
     From 17 December 1659, her married name became Riddell.2 From 8 April 1687, her married name became Grant.2 From after 1695, her married name became Rutherford.1

Sir Ludovic Grant of Dalvey1

     Sir Ludovic Grant of Dalvey was the son of Sweton Grant and unknown Farquharson.2 He died on 4 January 1701, without legitimate issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Grant, of Dalvey [N.S., 1688] in 1695, de jure.1 On 14 May 1695 he was declared heir to his brother but did not assume the title, probably owing to the family's position as ruined Jacobites.1

Sir Sweton Grant of Gartenberg and of Dalvey1

     Sir Sweton Grant of Gartenberg and of Dalvey was the son of Duncan Grant of Kinveachy.2 He married Margaret Grant, daughter of Donald Grant.1 He died, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Grant, of Dalvey [N.S., 1688] on 4 January 1701, de jure.1 On 24 February 1701 he was retoured heir to his cousin's estate of Dalvey, but sold it later that year.2
