Anna Elisabeth Christina van Tuyll van Serooskerken was born on 9 September 1745 at Zuylen Castle.1 She was the daughter of Jan Maximilian van Tuyll van Serooskerken, Baron van Tuyll van Serooskerken and Lady Ursula Christine van Reede.1,2 She married Frederik Christiaan Reinhart van Reede, 5th Earl of Athlone, son of Frederik Willem van Reede, 4th Earl of Athlone and Louisa Isabella Hermelina van Wassenaer, on 29 December 1765.1 She died on 16 January 1819 at age 73 at The Hague, The Netherlands.1
As a result of her marriage, Anna Elisabeth Christina van Tuyll van Serooskerken was styled as Countess of Athlone on 29 December 1765. From 29 December 1765, her married name became van Reede.1
