     Lady Louisa Katherine Scott was born on 22 May 1871.¹ She was the daughter of John Scott, 3rd Earl of Eldon and Henrietta Minna Turnor.¹ She married John Augustine Longley, son of Sir Henry Longley, on 26 May 1898.¹ She died on 5 August 1940 at age 69.¹
     Her married name became Longley.

Durham [U.K., 1821] on 10 August 1926.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting to HM King George VI between 1937 and 1952.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1938.² He fought in the Second World War.² He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1952.² He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting to HM Queen Elizabeth II between 1952 and 1968.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon between 1957 and 1966.² He was decorated with the Grand Officer, Legion of Honour in 1960.² He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1963.²

     Hon. Magdalen Mary Charlotte Fraser was born on 1 August 1913. She was the daughter of Simon Joseph Fraser, 14th Baron Lovat and Hon. Laura Lister.¹ She married Sir John Scott, 4th Earl of Eldon, son of John Scott, Viscount Encombe and Hon. Mary Laura Fraser, on 10 April 1934.¹ She died on 27 September 1969 at age 56.¹
     As a result of her marriage, Hon. Magdalen Mary Charlotte Fraser was styled as Countess of Eldon on 10 April 1934. From 10 April 1934, her married name became Scott. She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1953.¹ She was invested as a Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.).¹

     Simon Joseph Fraser, 14th Baron Lovat was born on 25 November 1871. He was the son of Simon Fraser, 13th Baron Lovat and Alice Mary Weld-Blundell. He married Hon. Laura Lister, daughter of Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblestone and Charlotte Monkton Tennant, on 15 October 1910 at Brompton Oratory, Brompton, Middlesex, England.¹ He died on 18 February 1933 at age 61.
     Simon Joseph Fraser, 14th Baron Lovat gained the title of 14th Baron Lovat.

     Hon. Laura Lister was born on 12 January 1892.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblestone and Charlotte Monkton Tennant.¹ She married Simon Joseph Fraser, 14th Baron Lovat, son of Simon Fraser, 13th Baron Lovat and Alice Mary Weld-Blundell, on 15 October 1910 at Brompton Oratory, Brompton, Middlesex, England.¹ She died on 24 March 1965 at age 73.¹
     Her married name became Fraser.

     Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblestone was born on 29 October 1854.¹ He was the son of Thomas Lister, 3rd Baron Ribblesdale and Emma Mure.¹ He married, firstly, Charlotte Monkton Tennant, daughter of Sir Charles Tennant, 1st Bt. and Emma Winsloe, on 7 April 1877.¹ He married, secondly, Ava Loel Willing, daughter of Edward Willing, in 1919.² He died on 21 October 1925 at age 70, without surviving male issue.¹
     Thomas Lister, 4th Baron Ribblestone gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Rifle Brigade.¹ He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Ribblesdale, of Gisburne Park, co. York [G.B., 1797] on 25 August 1876.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting to HM Queen Victoria between 1880 and 1885.¹ He was Master of the Royal Buckhounds between 1892 and 1895.¹
     The Barony of Ribblestone became extinct on his death.¹

     Michael Simon Scott was born on 1 April 1900.¹ He was the son of John Scott, Viscount Encombe and Hon. Mary Laura Fraser.¹ He married Ruth Brady, daughter of James Cox Brady, on 31 December 1928.¹ He died on 4 February 1938 at age 37.¹
     Michael Simon Scott was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.¹ He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Scots Guards (Special Reserve).¹
