     Margaret Whitbread was the daughter of William Whitbread.2 She married Lt.-Col. Hon. Ranulph Allsopp, son of Henry Allsopp, 1st Baron Hindlip of Hindlip and Elizabeth Tongue, on 5 January 1898.1 She died on 30 July 1941.1
     From 5 January 1898, her married name became Allsopp.

     Sir James Maxwell of Calderwood, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir James Maxwell of Calderwood and Isabel Hamilton.1 He married, firstly, Jean Hamilton, daughter of Sir James Hamilton of Evandale and Lady Margaret Cuninghame.1 He married, secondly, Mary Coattes, daughter of James Coattes, circa 1 July 1637.1 He died circa 1670.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Maxwell, of Calderwood [Nova Scotia] on 28 March 1627, with a special remainder to his heirs male whatsoever.1

     Sir William Maxwell of Calderwood, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1640.1 He was the son of Sir James Maxwell of Calderwood, 1st Bt. and Mary Coattes.1 He married Jean Maxwell, daughter of Sir Alexander Maxwell of Saughton and Janet Moodie, before 9 November 1666.1 He died on 30 April 1703, without surviving issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Maxwell, of Calderwood [N.S., 1627] circa 1670.1
